The Arvada Center strives to celebrate the diversity of the arts through numerous theatrical performances and artwork. The art gallery focuses on the local, national, and international art from some of the world's most impressive contemporary artists. The Children's Theater puts on impressive productions which have included "James and the Giant Peach" and "Frog & Toad". A few miles north of Old Town Arvada, the center's grounds features a large rock serpent for children to climb on and a small picnic area.
